Book Review: "Ballroom"

The quote below is what Editor-in-Chief, Cindy Hochman, posted on FaceBook, from a letter she received from Lyn about my review that was printed in February, 2012, in First Literary Review - East. (The publisher who sent the letter to Lyn Lifshuin was Robert Bixby.)

I'd like to share with everyone what Lyn's publisher says about Leigh's review, which Lyn shared with me:

"That's a french kiss, pubis-grabbing, hot breath in the coat room of a party (what the hell happened to my underwear?) after too much to drink of a review. One for the ages. One to frame and hang in the front hall. One that makes me feel like I'm not wasting my time or yours."

Ms. Harrison's review of Lyn Lifshin's poetry collection, "Ballroom," was published in February, 2012 in the online poetry magazine, First Literary Review - East." It was the first book review chosen to appear in the magazine.
